Yonderland is a leading omni-channel outdoor retailer in Europe with the brands AS Adventure, Juttu, and The North Face in Belgium, Bever and The North Face in the Netherlands, and Cotswold Outdoor, Snow+Rock, and Runnersneed in the United Kingdom. We aim to remain a pioneer in omni-channel retail.

Yonderland has a central IT team that supports the three business units in different countries in executing their strategies and achieving their objectives.

To further support our IT teams, we are looking for a Scrum Master.

 

·        Supporting Iteration Execution

The Scrum Master facilitates team events (refinement, planning, retrospective, daily stand-up, review) to coordinate and align the team’s efforts. He/she supports the Product Owner in maximizing the value of the team’s work. Additionally, the Scrum Master helps identify and remove impediments.

·        Building High-Performing Self-Managing Teams

Since healthy Agile teams are essential for creating high value, the Scrum Master encourages the team to become a high-performing and self-managing team. He/she supports the overall adoption of the (Lean) Agile mindset. The Scrum Master helps resolve team conflicts and encourages team members to further develop their skill sets.

·        Improving Workflow

The Scrum Master can significantly improve the team’s workflow by eliminating bottlenecks, delays, and waste using techniques such as Kanban. He/she establishes metrics to assess and enhance the team’s overall performance and promotes built-in quality practices.

·        Supporting the Organization

The Scrum Master helps employees and stakeholders understand the way of working and fosters collaboration with stakeholders.



Your equipment

• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Preferably, you have already gained some experience in the role of Scrum Master, approximately 3 years.
• You have an affinity with the sector we are in: retail & outdoor.
• You have strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
