(IT ) Cloud security engineer

Our IT team is part of the Yonderland group. The Yonderland group runs over 190 shops in Belgium, Luxembourg, France, United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland and the Netherlands as well as eCommerce sites for all 7 brands within the group, which makes us the largest premium outdoor retailer in Europe.

Our brands include Cotswold Outdoor, Runnersneed, Snow+Rock, Bever, AS Adventure, Juttu and Ayacucho.

We are looking for a talented Cloud Security Engineer with expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure to join our IT security team.  If you are passionate about cloud security, have a solid understanding of AWS, and thrive in a collaborative environment, we want to hear from you. 

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with our Systems Operations and Cloud operations teams to ensure that our systems are secure and protected from both internal and external threats.

• Conduct regular security assessments of our AWS infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and potential risks.
• Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards for our systems.
• Monitor and analyse cloud traffic to identify and respond to security incidents and threats.
• Work with other IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure security controls are implemented throughout the organization.
• Provide security guidance and training to other IT colleagues and users as needed.
• Collaborate with external security vendors and partners as needed.
• Follow up on alerts from our security systems.

• In-depth knowledge of AWS services and security features.
• Experience with cloud security tools and platforms.
• Strong understanding of networking and security protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
